The Future Of Healthcare

The Future of healthcare is becoming bright and better day by day in front of every eye. With the advancement in digital healthcare services and artificial intelligence, the future of the healthcare industry looks promising and bright. The future lies or focuses on working hand in hand with technology and digital services. With so much going on with digital services and artificial intelligence, healthcare workers need to be tech savvy and intelligent for a better tomorrow.

Like many sectors and industries, healthcare is about to enter a period of rapid change. Hence, the innovation of technology and artificial intelligence is very important. We all have reached a point where technology and advanced features are really important to improve the quality of life. The good part is that the advancements in medical knowledge have been remarkable from the past 50 years. Looking at the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic around, this is a great step.

Steps To Be Taken By The Healthcare Industry For A Better Future

There are a lot of steps which can be taken by both the government and the healthcare industry to step up their game for a bright future. Some of the steps include Patient Consumerization which is basically the shift in focus on an individual, Virtual Healthcare is also really important when it comes to stepping up the game. It plays a really big part in the healthcare industry especially during these tough times with this virus around. People can get their medical check ups done virtually without having to step out of their houses which is safe, less stressful and less time consuming.

Introduction of AI or Artificial Intelligence in the medical field and the healthcare industry is of great help and a good step towards a better tomorrow and a bright future. All big surgeries are possible because of the introduction of technology in the healthcare industry nowadays. Along with the surgeries even the diagnosis of other diseases and cancer is possible because of the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in the medical and healthcare industry. Providing free healthcare services to the people living in slums and rural areas who cannot afford much and cant get their check ups done on time because of the cost. This is also a great step towards a bright future in the medical field. Apart from all this, reducing the price of health insurances can also be helpful. Poor people cannot afford health insurance because of the high price, therefore they have limited healthcare options.

During this pandemic and the virus around, people need to get their vaccines and get vaccinated to stay safe and live a healthy life. Introduction of the Covid-19 vaccine in every clinic and hospital will also help. New strategies need to be introduced so that people can get themselves vaccinated. Banning of people who spread rumours and fill people’s minds with fake news about the vaccine needs to be banned from all social media platforms. During the second wave, a lot of people passed away because of no beds and less oxygen content. This can be avoided in the upcoming wave by creating more healthcare centres around the cities, so that there is more room for the patients. But people should get vaccinated to avoid all these difficulties.

The Future Is Not Yet Here

The healthcare services are not that advanced and that great in the rural areas because of many reasons. Poverty and Illiteracy are one of the main issues which these people are facing at the moment. People have to travel long distances to get a proper check up done, thus geographical barriers become the main problem. Long waits to access healthcare services are also a main issue. People have to wait in long queues and lines just to get a basic check up done. Because of this the elderly people neglect their appointments which is not good.People also face transportation problems, the ambulances are not on time when there is an urgency or an emergency which makes the situation a lot worse. The high cost of health insurance is also a major issue as some people cannot afford it and thus have less access to healthcare services.

The Solutions For A Better Life

Education is the top priority and the most important thing right now. If the people living in the rural areas are educated then people living in those areas can get their medical check ups done without having to travel long distances. Everything should be made virtual from booking appointments to getting  the check ups done. With this people won’t have to wait in long queues to get their check ups done. This can be achieved by making the people Tech Savvy. The cost of healthcare services should be reduced by the Government so that everyone can afford it and can get equal services. The transportation services are delayed due to the heavy traffic. This can be avoided by creating separate lanes for ambulances only. The ambulances should be allowed to pass through the signals very easily.

All this can help towards building a better tomorrow and a bright future. People can live a healthy and long life without any difficulties especially the ones living in the rural areas and who can’t afford much. We all should contribute towards this by getting vaccinated and fulfilling our other duties as citizens
