The End of Movie Going Experience? Movie theatres cut down shows

Multiplexes and single-screen theaters were compelled to cut back on the number of shows or temporarily close certain screens due to the lack of films that captured people’s attention and the lackluster response of already-released big-budget projects like “Maidaan” and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”.

According to estimates from several trade analysts, multiplexes that have five or six auditoriums can only accommodate two or three shows at a time.
