Hero Motocorp starts its production plant in Nepal
On Sunday, a two-wheeler giant announced that, in collaboration with its distributor, it had launched an assembly factory in Nepal. Hero MotoCorp said in a statement that the factory, which would have a capacity of 75,000 units annually, will bring new investments and job possibilities to the area.
It further stated that four recently introduced models, the Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor+ motorbikes, and Xoom 110 scooter, will be locally built at a new assembly plant at Nawalparasi’s CG Industrial Park.
This is a wonderful milestone for Nepal and for us at CG Motors. Hero Motocorp Chief Business Officer-Global Business plant Sanjay Bhan stated, “The state-of-the-art assembly unit will ensure that our world-class products will now be made in Nepal and available to customers across the country.”
