Byju’s asks its revenue-linked payout staff to come back to office
According to insiders, Byju’s, a financially struggling edtech giant, has started the process of requesting some of its staff to come back to work. This might mean a review of the company’s work-from-home policy, which was put in place under the leadership of previous India CEO Arjun Mohan, who resigned in April.
An employee of Byju’s from the content team stated, “All teams related to content and academic operations have been asked to report to our office in Bengaluru from May 16 onwards.” The Learning App, Online Classes & Tuition Centers, and Test-prep are among the three combined businesses that the content team serves.
