Ashok Leyland to introduce 5-6 new Light Commercial Vehicles
A senior official stated here on Friday that Ashok Leyland, the flagship firm of the Hinduja Group, has scheduled five to six model releases in the light commercial vehicle market this year. According to Managing Director and CEO Shenu Agarwal, the city-based manufacturer of medium and heavy commercial vehicles has set aside between Rs 500 and Rs 700 crore for capital expenditures in current fiscal year.
Earlier in the day, Ashok Leyland said that its consolidated net profit for the January–March 2024 quarter was Rs 933.69 crore, up 16.73% from Rs 799.87 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
