IndiGo launches business class service, first time in 18 years
On the occasion of its 18th anniversary, IndiGo, the top low-cost airline in India, has announced a major expansion of its services. The airline is going to provide business class seats for the first time since its founding, which is a significant departure from its conventional no-frills approach.
IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers announced that from tomorrow, travelers between major cities would be able to reserve business class tickets on the airline.
“Passengers traveling between metro cities will have the option to book business class seats on IndiGo flights starting tomorrow,” CEO Elbers said.
The new premium service will be accessible for travel in November of this year, however reservations are open now.
