Govt. issues security alert for Apple Users
A serious warning about serious vulnerabilities in Apple products has been released by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In). The August 2 alert highlights high-risk security flaws in a number of Apple products, including Macs, iPads, iPhones, and other devices.
Apple Security Alert: Software Versions That Are Vulnerable
The flaws impact many Apple software versions:
- macOS: Versions previous to 14.6 (Sonoma), 13.6.8 (Ventura), and 12.7.6 (Monterey) iOS and iPadOS: Versions prior to 17.6 and 16.7.9
- watchOS: Previous versions before 10.6
- Versions before 17.6 of tvOS and versions before 1.3 of visionOS
