A Tiny Step for THE BIG DAY
Preparing yourself for a baby is a huge step indeed. And, you are often quite clueless when it’s your first time. There’s no need to get all worked up about it because we’ve done the homework for you. Here are some tips that will give you a head-start.
Primarily, you need to have an understanding of your own body and the Three Trimesters. The first trimester takes your body on a hormonal ride from week 1 to week 12 as it prepares the body for your baby’s development and it’s completely normal. The timeframe of weeks 13 to 28 shows evident body changes as your belly expands to accommodate the little being inside you. The third one marks weeks 29 to 40 with your baby’s rapid growth and a football player is born. This is also the period where your baby turns upside down preparing you for the Big Push!!!
Now that we’ve got that cleared out of the way, let’s narrow things down to 5 simple Do’s and Don’ts.
* Healthy Diet: The topmost priority is that you nourish your body well making healthy changes to your food habits. It is safe to avoid high amounts of caffeine, raw eggs, smoked meats, etc.
Sleeping Habits: Make sure you get the right amount of sleep; not more, not less. It is advisable to not follow the usual recommended seven to nine hours of sleep routine.
* Activate Yourself: Recharge your body by taking a stroll outside breathing in the fresh air keeping both mind and body up and running.
* Abstinence: Have the habit of smoking and drinking? Well, it’s time to say goodbye to that as it has adverse effects during pregnancy.
* Stay away from stress: Stress is a never-ending tale but it is better to not engage in any activity that triggers it. Meditation has proven beneficial for a stress-free lifestyle.
Embrace your changing body and remember to stay in the moment celebrating your little miracle. You learn along the whole journey so just consider these your baby steps towards a wonderful motherhood.
