6 Airbags to be installed in Taigun and Virtus variants of Volkswagen cars in India
Volkswagen India, a luxury automobile manufacturer based in Germany, said on Monday that all Taigun and Virtus models, which have a 5-Star Global NCAP (GNCAP) safety rating, will come equipped with six airbags. In response to consumer demand for its automobiles in India, the business claimed it has increased its line-up of variants and is consistently improving its product offerings since the launch of the India 2.0 product portfolio.
While the themed-sized sedan Virtus was introduced in March 2022, the tiny crossover SUV Taigun made its debut in India in September 2021.
“All of our India 2.0 vehicle lineup will be equipped with six airbags as standard. We are demonstrating our dedication to safer transportation with this, said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India.
